Journey On Relaxation

My experience on  "Relaxation" exercise. Listen here.

This relaxation exercise is good for beginners because there is a lot of explanations about relaxation, muscle tension, and blood flow. With some years of experienced of the different relaxation technics, with instructor or with out, I went to the trance state fast. I directed my blood flow to my hands and felt warmth that went along my spine, arms, and palms. Then, I improvised a little, I directed energy/blood flow to my hips and legs. At the same time, I imagined the light go through my head down the spine and comes out from tailbone to the ground. My whole body became relaxed, warm, and wrapped in something soft, like an energy cocoon.

Hi Risha,
I found that the exercise was boring and hard for me to follow. I tried but man it was hard for me. Maybe I will try again. You did a great job on your page. You gave me some Ideas.

Hey Risha,

Your description of the exercise was really good! I wrote mine and read yours and wanted to go back to change mine!! You had so much detail which was really awesome! After reading your post I was thinking about the way the exercise made me feel more descriptively! So thank you for that!

Risha,
That is really cool that you have experience with various relaxation techniques. How did you get that experience? Is it affiliated with your job? I was able to get blood to my arms and feel the warmth and heaviness, but where I could really feel the difference was when I 'sent' the blood back to my abdomen. Does it take years to master this skill or is it something I can get better at fairly quickly through practice?

Hello Risha,

I think that you described the relation technique poetically. I am nor sure if it was the voice of the man or the things that were being said but it made me very sleepy.

Thanks for nice comments. Beginners always impatient and want the fast results, but (s)he needs more time and a lot of practice to see results from relaxation exercises. Most importantly it is consistency, start with 5 minutes and move to 30+ minutes. When you begin to think that you conquer meditation/relaxation exercises, there would be a phase two, which I had last year, after seven years of practice. I do not have a "gyry" to help me or teach me, just using my intuition. So everybody is capable of to practice by using intuition and imagination.
